The National Asthma Foundation was established in 2002 to help provide assistance to asthma patients and their families that cannot afford care. The rising cost of healthcare has made it increasingly difficult for individuals or families to obtain health insurance. For many individuals and families the cost of care and medication to regulate asthma is simply too high a burden. We believe that none of the over 20 million Americans who live with asthma every day should suffer due to a lack of resources. Everyone should be able to receive the medication they need so that they can live life fully.
